Four caribou bulls framed by Mt. McKinley (Denali) on a beautiful
June morning.
After a rather dissappointing early-morning search for wildlife
(typically, Denali wildlife abundance runs inverse to the weather--beautiful
day, fewer animals to be found), I spotted these four bulls grazing
on a ridge below the park road. Realizing the potential of using
Denali as a backdrop, I slowly descended a parallel ridge until
I found the proper framing position. The challenge was waiting
for all four free-spirits to position themselves in a pleasing
composition!
